Poncho Artist Series - Kai & Sunny

Kai & Sunny, owned by Kai Clements (b.1975) is a UK based artist where he attended the Epsom School of Art in Surrey, graduating with a first-class honours degree in Art & Design. 
Works of Kai & Sunny are characterized as colourful palettes of owing and dynamic lines uniquely distinguishable compositions of acrylic paintings on linen. Kai Clements has created his acrylic paintings since 2016.

 The name Kai & Sunny has a strong ethos in collaboration with other artists with an emphasis on the collective. Shepard Fairey, D*Face, are regular collaborators bringing together the idea of ‘Unity’ and enable the artist to continually evolve and grow.
The connection with the collective has seen Kai Clements (Kai & Sunny) collaborate in a wide range of areas including Element skateboards, the Jewellers Tiffany & Co, music projects with Toydrum, the author David Mitchell and the fashion designer Alexander McQueen. Collaborating with artists as well as dierent elds of innovation and expression brings together a unique working process Kai values.

Kai & Sunny has exhibited all over the world including, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Hong Kong, Paris, and London and shown at the institute Haunch of Venison. The work of Kai & Sunny is included in the Victoria & Albert Museum Print Archive Collection.
On this Kai & Sunny collab Poncho, the design plays with perspective illusion and subtle color graduation, creating depth and movement across the surface. Abstract yet controlled, the artwork blends urban street energy with a relaxed coastal attitude—turning the poncho into a bold, modern statement that shifts with light and motion.

Crafted with a 100% polyester exterior, the poncho is lightweight and sublimes the artwork. Its oversized silhouette and easy side openings make it effortless to throw on, while the 100% cotton terry lining and generous hood provide warmth and softness after a surf session, swim, or any water-based activity.
Designed for both function and style, it features a chest pocket with an integrated key loop, keeping essentials secure whether you’re moving through the city, the beach, or somewhere in between.
